S. Fareeda Khan, the Founder and Director of NIFD GLOBAL CHENNAI- FIDA THE DESIGN SCHOOL, has a distinguished background as an Interior Designer, dating back to 2002. In 2009, she transitioned into Design Education, embarking on a mission to nurture the talents of budding designers in the field of fashion and interior design. Throughout her illustrious career, S. Fareeda Khan has fostered valuable partnerships with esteemed institutions such as NIFD Global, Medhavi Skills University, London School of Trends, Lakme Fashion Week, Femina Miss India, and Decorex International. These collaborations have provided her students with invaluable exposure to both national and international design industries. NIFD Global Chennai – FIDA – The Design School has remained steadfast in its commitment to design education for the past 15 years, with campuses in Chennai and Bangalore.
Recognized by the Higher Education Review Magazine as one of the Top 10 Promising Interior Designing Institutes in India for 2018, FIDA continues to uphold its reputation for excellence. In line with the “Make in India” initiative, S. Fareeda Khan took a significant step forward in 2017 with the launch of AQUAAB by SFK, a high-end Multi Designer Store. This pioneering platform not only showcases established designers from across the country but also nurtures emerging talents, fostering a dynamic creative community. Continuing her entrepreneurial endeavors, S. Fareeda Khan recently unveiled WORK11, a concept-based Co-Working Space located in Chennai. This visionary initiative caters to the evolving needs of professionals by providing a collaborative environment conducive to creativity and productivity. At the heart of S.
