1.INTERIOR DESIGN FOR HOSPITALITY SPACES

This subject exposes students to the field of hospitality design which includes cafes and restaurants among others. Students will learn to create environment for various kinds of hospitality spaces such as themed restaurants, QSR (quick service restaurants) and cafeterias.

2.SERVICES FOR INTERIOR SPACES - III

Introduction to the concept of Indoor Environment Quality control for living comfort is the main focus of this subject. Students will understand the basic principles of Air-Conditioning systems and its application to interiors.

3.INTERIOR LANDSCAPE DESIGN - I

The aim of this subject is to enable students to understand the need for Landscape in Interiors & how it can enhance the design.

4.DISSERTATION

The aim of this subject is to train the students to undertake an in-depth study of a particular subject related to Interior Design, thus giving them an opportunity to develop their skills in a particular subject & prepare a technical database for the same.

SEM- VI

1.INTERIOR DESIGN FOR RETAIL SPACES

In this subject student learn retail psychology and how design influences the process of marketing and branding. Students will apply the design process to come up with unique designs for retail spaces.

2.BUDGETING AND COST ESTIMATION

The aim of this subject is to introduce students to the knowledge & skills of estimating, costing and analysis. These are required skills and techniques which help the students to handle the design and execution of residential and commercial interiors.

3.BUSINESS PRACTICES FOR INTERIOR DESIGN

The aim of this subject is to understand the responsibilities of an Interior designer and the technicalities of the profession. Students will learn how to handle their design business and to operate as professional interior designers.

4.INTERIOR LANDSCAPE DESIGN - II

The aim of this subject is to enable students to understand the need for Landscape in exterior & how it can enhance the design.

5.INTERIOR CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND TECHNIQUES-II

In this subject student will learn to draft the various types of constructional details used in interior spaces.
